ANTI-BULLYING PROGRAMME
-----------------------------------

Bullying. It is a sad fact but a realisation that bullying exists in most walks of life. It is very probable indeed that all of us have either known of a bully, known someone who has been the victim of bullying, been victimised by a bully or been a bully ourselves.

In its simplest form bullying may exist as regular name-calling and victimised prejudice between very young children in the schoolyard. As we develop this can continue and progress into more concentrated forms and can manifest itself physically or psychologically. Bullying can be disastrous for many individuals and often the lasting effects of bullying can be with some individuals throughout their entire lifetime.

Our brand new 'Anti-bullying programmes' are aimed at children aged 9-13 years and are specifically designed to run both concurrently and alongside our other children's programmes .

Within this programme we aim to identify the phenomenon, which is bullying and use our initiative to instruct 9-13 year olds on the types of bullying, reasons for this bullying and its consequence for the victims. Our programme is specifically orchestrated to coincide with the annual 'Anti-bullying week' (each November) and works within the existing school timetable framework as part of lesson time.
